CIO Series #31: Second Opinion: Diagnosing Our Five Predictions for 2026

Synopsis
During our last webinar, we shared our top five predictions for 2026, e.g. the Great AI Cool Down, China’s Growing Pains, the US-China AI Race, Breaking the Dollar’s Grip and the Fed Wildcard. However, we’ve often erred on the side of caution in the past. So, let’s bring in an expert for a second opinion. For our next CIO Series, we’ve invited UOB Chief Economist, Suan Teck Kin, to examine our 2026 forecasts and prescribe insights on what will shape markets this year. Mr. Suan was among the first to correctly predicted de-dollarization in early 2025 – which has redefined global investing since. Join us for an in-depth discussion on the world economy and financial markets in 2026.
